Welcome to Fairweather Osteopathy
Hi, my name is Kay Fairweather and I am passionate about helping patients understand the role of movement and the nervous system in pain and wellbeing.
I have a deep interest in the latest scientific understanding of how chronic pain develops and the best way to manage it. I takes an individual approach to every patient and focus on helping you to learn to read your own body and find a unique way of working through restrictions, to obtain functional movement for everyday health, comfort and happiness.
I graduated from Plymouth Marjon University in South Devon, England with a Bachelor of Healthcare Science and Master of Osteopathic Medicine. I have completed additional post graduate training in craniosacral therapy at the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy in the UK and women’s pelvic health at the Osteopathic Pelvic Health Institute of Australia, where I trained in internal pelvic floor strength and prolapse assessment and treatment.
I am a qualified yoga teacher and enjoy trail running and rock climbing.
